'WWE 2K16' DLC Gives Gamers More Than 30 New Moves

The wrestling video game "WWE 2K16" has received its first downloadable content (DLC) pack last November 24, according to a report in GameSpot. The game's first DLC is said to expand the number of moves players can make by adding more than 30 new moves, the report said. Among the moves included are those made popular by famous WWE wrestlers, such as the Corner Enzuigiri by WWE Diva Nikki Bella, the Avalanche Ram by WWE Diva Paige, the Dragon Sleeper by NXT Superstar Finn Balor, among others.

The first DLC pack called "New Moves Pack" will cost players $3.99 and it also includes moves such as the Sidewinder Suplex by WWE Superstar Kevin Owens and the Standing Crossface Chickenwing by WWE Superstar Stardust. There are also moves made popular by older generation wrestlers and these include the Regal Cutter and the 630-degree senton.

The "New Moves Pack" is also part of the $25 Season Pass for the game according to another GameSpot report. Several more DLC packs are coming, as announced by 2K Sports, which include the Legends Pack, the Accelerator, the Future Stars Pack and the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase. What is notable with the 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase are the seven playable matches between wrestlers such as Rikishi vs. the Rock, Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair and several more matches.

There is one DLC that is only available for current generation console versions of the game. The DLC named MyPlayer KickStart is a PS4 and an Xbox One exclusive.

"WWE 2K16" was released in October for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. The game boasts of the biggest roster of playable characters, reaching over 120 playable characters. Previous games in the series only had as much as 67 playable characters. The 120 playable characters were released all at once upon the game's release and there are some more characters arriving via the game's DLC packs.
