Some of the epic battles that will be included in the upcoming expansion have already been previewed via several trailers online. Fans can expect an epic battle between Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page vs The Fabulous Freebirds. This will feature Jimmy Garvin and Michael "P.S." Hayes at the WCW Saturday Night 1992, and The Fabulous Freebirds match at the WCWW 1986.

The "Hall of Fame Showcase" will also include an accelerator, which will allow players to access unlockable content available at the launch. This will sell at $4.99, and will also reportedly give players the ability to define the overall rankings and attribute levels of every playable character.

Another feature included is the future stars pack, which is priced at $8.99 and will showcase playable WWE and NXT superstars such as Karl Anderson, Tye Dillinger, Mojo Rawley, Austin Aries and Luke Gallows.

The "WWE 2K17: Hall of Fame Showcase" DLC will be available for the PlayStation and Xbox by Feb. 21, while PC gamers will have to wait for it to be released in the near future.
