One of the longest running television sports shows, the WWE Monday Night RAW opens at Nashville Tennessee's Bridgestone Arena, showcasing the raw world of professional wrestling.
Criticized as soap opera for wrestling, it first debuted in January 1993 with WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers, Koko B. and Yokozuna opening the first match of the premiering program. It has since garnered the reputation of being one of the highest-rated programs on television since its first episode on the USA Network.
