WWE News: Vince McMahon's Character Returning To Regular Programming, Brock Lesnar Foreseen To Win Royal Rumble
World Wrestling Entertainment chairman and Chief Executive Office Vince McMahon will be returning to the company's regular programming.
The 70-year old professional wrestling figurehead had minimized his appearances on the WWE's shows, since being active in April 2014. He once again returned on the December 15th episode of Monday Night RAW, where he engaged in a feud with Roman Reigns.
Apparently, McMahon's appearances have drawn a huge chunk of viewers. In a report by Ryan Droste for WhatCulture.com, the said episode of RAW garnered a total of 3.376 viewers. The report adds that the December 28th episode of RAW did way better, jumping up 5% to 3.536 million viewers.

The shows hourly breakdown had 3.695 million viewers during the first, 3.488 million viewers during the second, and 3.425 million viewers during the third. In another report by Joe Burgett for the Inquisitr, the decision to have McMahon return back to RAW was something done, last minute.
The success of the December 15th episode pleased McMahon so much, that he decided to make another appearance the following week.
"Vince has felt that he was too old to be a regular character anymore, and he wanted to hand the authoritarian role to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon," an excerpt of Burgett's report reads.
Meanwhile, former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar is already being foreseen to win the 2016 Royal Rumble.
In a report Brad Davis for SeScoops, betting odds have Lesnar as an 11/10 favorite to win the Royal Rumble, which is scheduled for January 24th at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. John Cena, on the other hand, is listed at 4/1.
In another report by Forbes.com, Lesnar is being billed to win the Royal Rumble, then face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE Heavyweight championship, this time, as the challenger.
Lesnar and Reigns had already faced each other at WrestleMania 31, in a Triple Threat match for the heavyweight title with Seth Rollins.
