The X Factor will hold a double elimination tonight. The event is airing live on TV at 8 p.m. ET but can also be watched online through free live stream (see details below).

On Wednesday's show the top 10 finalists performed a song dedicating to someone they were thankful to, in celebration of Thanksgiving Day. Most of the contestants honored someone in their family.

Diamond caused X Factor judge Demi Lovato to break down in tears when she sang Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me" for her mother.

"I feel as if maybe this wasn't your best performance but it was still incredible," said Lovato.

Lovato admitted the song was very meaningful to her and related to her mother and sister.

"Your performances are always so special and so touching," said judge Britney Spears.

The contestant's ballad performances provoked a standing ovation from the judges.

Carly Rose also brought the judges to their feet by singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Rose dedicated the song to her brother Russell.

"You are the best alien I've ever heard sing in my life," said Cowell while standing for his ovation.

The emotional night had Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West, Bruce Jenner, and Kylie and Kendall Jenner sitting in the front row, giving support to the hostess, Khloe Kardashian.

Tune in Thursday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET live on Fox to find out which two candidates will be heading home and which will go on to the Top 8.
