Moreover, in a conversation with Michael Fassbender, who plays the role of Magneto, it has been revealed that Fassbender's character might also return to "Apocalypse" for the purpose that hasn't been known yet.

"Yeah, I mean, I haven't got a script or anything yet, but I'm always excited to see where Simon Kinberg's going to go with the next X-Men," the Irish-German actor was quoted saying. "I've had these conversations with Simon and there's a certain strand of his story that I think is pretty interesting and would like to explore, if we could."

Meanwhile, speculations surrounding the question of who will be Apocalypse's brother at arms in the story have also surfaced.

In a report by Enstarz.com, they said that the members of the Four Horsemen who will rise against the mutants are Archangel, Holocaust, Exodus, and Selene.

"I would say in terms of making any character decisions on 'Apocalypse' is, we set back the clock on 'Days of Future Past,' so a lot could have changed from that point in 1973 forward, meaning people could have been born earlier," Kinberg told MTV News.

Archangel, played by Ben Foster, had appeared in "X-Men: The Last Stand." Though the character didn't appear in the previous film, rumors has it that the 33-year-old actor might reprise the role.
