'X-Men: Apocalypse': Sophie Turner Hints Taylor Swift Cameo?

On Friday, "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Sophie Turner posted a photo that made fans believe Taylor Swift may appear on the movie for a cameo role as Dazzler.

In her Twitter photo, Turner, who plays Jean Grey, is seen with Tye Sheridan's Cyclops as they check out records in a music store. While there seems to be nothing too serious about the picture, Cyclops' record of choice that showed Dazzler on the cover created buzz among fans.

Turner captioned the photo: "#FBF that time Cyclops and I went shopping at the mall and found our favorite singer's album (pre 1989, of course)." Swift is obviously the author of "1989," the award-winning album that has made rounds across the globe.

Collider notes that last summer, writer and producer Simon Kinberg posted a photo of him with Swift, Turner, and James McAvoy. Though the picture didn't catch the attention of too many fans back then, they are now trying to put the pieces together.

While there is no official word regarding the recent rumor, Comicbook News says Turner's post suggests that Dazzler indeed exists in the big screens and fans may finally see her once the film releases in less than a month.

The outlet adds that the album Cyclops was holding in Turner's post is from the mutant's solo series, "Dazzler #29." Titled "Sounds of Light and Fury," the album appears to tease exciting scenes if ever Dazzler does grace the "X-Men" territory in the upcoming film.

Swift has not commented on the issue but many fans believe she is the best choice to play Dazzler's role. Not only does the "Bad Blood" singer have some acting credits to her name but her music career is probably the greatest aspect that will link her to the character.

Dazzler has the ability to convert vibrations into light and aside from being a hot mutant, she is also a pop star - just like Swift.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
