The good news for prospective players is that they may be able to explore Alrest faster with a little assist from one of their companions.

New screenshots shared by the developers over on Twitter show that it will be possible to travel the world while riding on top of a creature that closely resembles a tiger.

The creature in question is not just some nameless character, however, as he is actually named Dromarch.

Dromarch serves as one of the Blades in "Xenoblade Chronicles 2. To be more specific, he will serve as the Blade of the character named Nia.

For the most part, Blades inside the game will be helpful during battles since they give their Drivers special abilities to use. It looks like Dromarch will be a more versatile Blade, however, as he can provide some assistance even when battles are not taking place.

There may still be a limitation placed on Dromarch's special ability. As NintendoEverything noted, it seems only Nia will be able to take advantage of Dromarch's ability.

While the other Blades in the game may not be useful for transportation purposes, they can still provide some unique abilities.

Over the past few weeks, developers have revealed a few of the Rare Blades who will be included in the game and they possess different weapons.

More news about the Blades and what they will be able to do inside "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" should be made available soon, and the game itself is due out on Dec. 1.
