Announced in January, the Mi Note Pro boasts a massive 5.7-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, making it the first Xiaomi handset to get the technology.

The device also runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with a 64-bit octa-core CPU, a whopping 4GB of RAM, and a 64GB built-in memory.

The camera department boasts only a 13MP primary shooter, but Xiaomi has used Sony's IMX214 image sensor and two-tone flash to keep things interesting. In front lies a 5MP selfie camera that can make HD video calls.

Rounding up the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's specs include the company's own MIUI 6 skin on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop, fast charging technology, and a 3,090mAh battery.

Its lower-end sibling, the Mi Note has already arrived to China and some neighboring markets in the past month.

Most Android and Xiaomi fans in Asia are expecting the Mi Note Pro to reach more markets outside of the company's home market.
