In the absence of its late, founding senior pastor, Zachery Tims, New Destiny Christian Center (NDCC) has announced that Paula White, pastor of Without Walls International Church will be preaching a special service on Sunday night.

With their founder, the late Zachery Tims, still prominently on their web site, NDCC has announced that Rev. White will be in attendance at a special "moving forward" service at the Florida megachurch.

The announcement came in the form of an email sent to New Destiny followers Wednesday evening, revealing that Pastor White would be a part of its 6:30 p.m. service this Sunday.

"Continue to grow with us as we move forward! Don't miss this important service w/ Pastor Paula White... This service will address the prominent future of New Destiny Christian Center and what to look forward to in the upcoming months."

The email did not make immediately clear what area of NDCC's future will be announced during the Oct. 16 service.

Tims, who was laid to rest on Aug. 21, led NDCC for 12 years and did not leave behind a successor and did not have a system in place for finding one. Tims was found dead in a New York City hotel room on Aug. 12.

Pastor White considered Zachery Tims her spiritual son, and admonished the church not to grieve for more than 30 days.

In the wake of Tims' sudden death, Pastor Paula White now appears to be pivotal to the church's activities and moving on from its mourning.
