How should Christians respond to the "Christmas is a myth" assertion?

Stop arguing, start reaching

Personally, I don’t believe it requires a response. Most people in America, even if they are not per se Christian, honor the Christmas holiday as a time to celebrate Jesus. It is the only time of year that Jesus is heralded throughout the loud speakers of malls, restaurants and department stores. Even with the presence of atheistic billboards and businesses switching from “Merry Christmas” to “happy holidays,” this is still the time of year when our faith becomes central. In fact, many Americans who don’t consider themselves Christian, still go to church on Christmas. Instead of arguing against the atheistic charge that Christmas is a myth, let’s focus on reaching out to those who believe in the birth of Jesus but don’t yet know Him as Savior.
