O'Reilly Accuses Kan. Governor of Protecting Illegal Abortionist
Bill OReilly, conservative talk show host of The OReilly Factor, has accused Kansass governor of protecting an abortionist who is allegedly providing illegal abortions.
The attack Wednesday night on Gov. Kathleen Sebelius was over abortionist George R. Tiller, who OReilly quoted as Tiller the Baby Killer. OReilly questioned the governors actions regarding an abortion bill last week.

Mark Schultz to Visit Boyhood Adoption Agency Amid Charity Bike Tour

Mark Schultz is forging ahead on his "Across America" bike tour to raise money for orphans and widows, racking up 1,287 miles and $75,000 for charity.
Next week, on June 8, the Dove award-winning artist will make a special appearance at The Kansas Childrens Service League (the League), headquartered in Wichita, Kan., to help raise awareness about the more than 900 orphans in the state. The local Kansas adoption agency also happens to be the place that Schultz himself was adopted from.

Anti-Evolutionist Runs Unopposed for Education Board Presidency
An avid anti-evolutionist is currently running unopposed in an election for the position of president-elect for the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE), alarming educators around the nation.
Kansas native Kenneth Willard will gain the position on the board which serves to strengthen state leadership in educational policymaking this July when the elections begin for selecting officers.

Salvation Army Serves 20,000 Meals in Response Kansas Storms

The Salvation Army has served more than 20,000 meals in response to the devastating tornadoes that hit Greensburg, Kan., over a week ago.
A total of four Salvation Army emergency disaster service mobile feeding vehicles (canteens) are in Greensburg helping to feed law enforcement officers, search and rescue crews and displaced residents. Each of the canteens is capable of serving up to 2,000 people per day. The organization also reports that it has 49 staff and volunteers on-site.

Kansas Tornado Attracts Heavy Equipment, Compassion
Just days after a tornado with winds up to 205 mph ripped through a small farming town in central United States, Christian groups are on ground lugging in heavy equipment together with human compassion to help victims.
As many witnesses have exclaimed, the town of Greensburg, Kan., home to 1,500 people, is nearly completely demolished with the Red Cross reporting that 90 percent of Greensburg has been destroyed or heavily damaged.
The town is completely flattened, said Bill Adams, disaster response director of Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC), in a statement so its unlikely well be sending our Rapid Response Teams, which often can provide survivors with clean up and short-term repair assistance. more >>
Christian Groups Respond to Kansas Tornado Wreck

Christian groups are on ground and responding to last weeks devastating Kansas twister that demolished nearly the entire farming town of Greensburg, Kan.
Two Salvation Army canteens emergency disaster mobile feeding units were deployed immediately following the disaster, the organization reported Monday. The canteens are capable of feeding up to 2,000 people a day and were deployed along with the groups emergency disaster services teams.
Basically were out there doing an assessment of the needs and will provide basic services making sure people have shelter, food, medicines and anything else they might need, said Dee Smith, emergency disaster services director for The Salvation Army in Kansas and Western Missouri, in a statement. more >>
