Elevation Church Accused of Censoring Reformed Pastor's Sermon
Elevation Church’s revival is seeing some theological controversy. An apologist and blogger is claiming that Matt Chandler’s sermon was censored during a rebroadcast.
Chandler, a Reformed evangelical pastor, spoke as a guest speaker at Elevation last Friday, the third night of the Code Orange Revival. But Chris Rosebrough, blogger and host of Fighting for the Faith, told The Christian Post that Chandler’s sermon was never rebroadcast afterwards like the other speakers’ talks were.
Elevation Church is in the midst of its 12-night revival in Charlotte, N.C. Each night, the worship time and speakers' sermons are rebroadcast on the Elevation Network at 10:12 p.m. and 3:12 a.m. EST. more >>

Christine Caine, founder of The A21 Campaign and a member of the leadership team at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, spoke to more than 2,500 people at the Charlotte, North Carolina-based megachurch’s revival on Saturday night. She started off her talk by showing a video of a teenager asking viewers to play a game with him by finding everything in their parent’s house that is expired. He said he would win because “my parents don’t believe in an expiration date.”
The video continues with the boy holding up food products and reading off the expiration dates, many of them years past their recommended date. more >>

“God specializes in using idiots,” LifeChurch.tv pastor Craig Groeschel told thousands of people as he kicked off a 12-night revival on Wednesday.
Speaking to a full house at Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., as well as a live Web and TV audience, Groeschel challenged Christians to go from “kind of believing in God” to becoming "idiots" for Christ.
“There are people … [who] are just too churchy. You just kind of believe in God and that’s it. You just always believed in God,” he said as the visiting speaker at the Code Orange Revival. “You need to … not just believe and live as if He doesn’t exist but … call on Him to be everything, not just an add-on to your life.” more >>
