Colleen Shannon was arrested for trying to cross the U.S.-Canada border with an illegal Canadian alien, and the 34-year-old was quickly nabbed by authorities for "bringing in and harboring aliens," according to TMZ. "A source with knowledge of the situation tells us the foreigner is Shannon's boyfriend … but we have yet to confirm," TMZ wrote.

After being caught with the man, the 5-foot-2-inch blonde was shipped to Clinton County Jail in upstate New York. Conviction of her crime could result in up to 10 years in prison- a very harsh penalty indeed.

However, the Alaskan Playboy Playmate was seen updating her profile on Facebook Saturday, so she could have been released. Others responding to her updates seemed to confirm the news as well.

"Glad to know everything is okay!" wrote one user, Simon.

"Hey gorgeous, keep that positivity going! Thinking of you and that beautiful smile of yours that lights up a room! Stay strong," added another Facebook user, Sara.

Currently, Shannon works as a DJ, as she has since she was chosen as the 50th Anniversary Playmate in January of 2004.

"She was already established as a top DJ in Los Angeles clubs when she was chosen out of nearly 10,000 applicants to be the 50th Anniversary Playmate in the January, 2004 issue of 'Playboy,'" her IMDb page reads.

The half Irish, half Swedish blonde has also appeared in music videos, magazines, and various advertisements.

Shannon's representative called her arrest a "misunderstanding."
