When it comes to crying, it can come very easy to some people. Whether it is because they are happy or sad about something. Most people cry when they are deeply moved by something. We are created by God with the ability to cry when we want to express our emotions.
There are people out there who see tears as a sign of weakness. But in the Bible you read many stories of the strongest people of faith crying out to God when things aren't going well.
Below are 7 Bible verses about crying and tears:
"A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance" (Ecclesiastes 3:4).
"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).
"The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry" (Psalm 34:15)
"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out" (Luke 13:28).
