The Wildlife Aid founder Simon Cowell traveled down to the River Thames in Southern England to help free a trapped cygnet that was stuck in a chain link fence. When he arrived he saw this little animal tangled up in the fence and began to approach him.
Without hesitation, the father swan jumped out of the water and like any loving parent began to attack the man. The man did his best to calm the swan, but it wouldn't stop without the baby back in the water safe.
After several attempts, Cowell finally got the cygnet out of the fence and safely back in the water. The man only suffered a bruised arm from the father swan.
