— A pastor and his family were attacked by a Muslim mob in Pakistan.

The May 27 attack was the third against Pastor Aziz so far this year.
Aziz has been the target of aggression from radical Muslims due to the growth of his ministry.
A local police officer saved Aziz and his family, but now they are homeless because the attackers seized their property.
The US State Department lists Pakistan a "country of particular concern" due to the persecution of Christians as well as peaceful Ahmadiyya Muslims in that nation.
— A miraculous story from Iraq, a Christian Yazidi man says he was burned alive 3 times by ISIS but survived unharmed.
ISIS had pressured him to convert to Islam, but Jesus appeared to him in a dream. The man tells his story in a documentary called, "Heart and Hand: Iraq," a project of Bethel Music.
He says in the film, "And they burned me, but I didn't burn."
— ISIS committed genocide against the Yazidi, and now a coalition of Yazidi women is suing two top German officials for failing to hold ISIS accountable.
Thousands of Yazidi were killed or became sex slaves after ISIS invaded their territory.
However, the German government refuses to repatriate 61 Germans who had joined ISIS and are now in custody.
The Federation of the Yazidi Women’s Council says the German government is committing a "criminal offense of obstruction of justice" by refusing to repatriate the ISIS fighters.
— President Donald Trump made a brief unannounced visit to McLean Bible Church Sunday morning where Pastor David Platt prayed for him on stage.
Pastor Platt prayed, "And we know, we need Your mercy. We need Your grace, we need Your help, we need Your wisdom in our country. And so we stand right now, on behalf of our president, and we pray for Your grace, and Your mercy, and Your wisdom upon him.
"God, we pray that he would know how much You love him. So much that You sent Jesus to die for his sins, our sins, so we pray that he would look to You. That he would trust in You. That he would lean on You. That he would govern and make decisions in ways that are good for justice, and good for righteousness, and good for equity, every good path."
— Millennials are a spiritually curious generation, according to a new report from Barna.
Non-Christian millennials are more likely than older generations to have engaged in conversations about faith and they're twice as likely to express an interest in Christianity.
Non-Christian millennials also reported having more encounters with evangelizing Christians.

— God hates disunity in the church, Pastor Francis Chan says.
Chan preached, "God wants unity; so it’s an abomination when there’s some stirring up among the brothers. He wants so badly for His glory to be seen; He wants so much for people to see who Jesus is, and our oneness is vital to that."
Chan had watched an old sermon he gave and seeing his own "arrogance and division" brought him to tears.
Chan apologized and said he was so "stinkin' arrogant" that he thought anyone who spoke in tongues was an idiot.
Chan's May 23 sermon, "Peace in the Church," was delivered at the 2019 Church Leaders Conference hosted by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. You can watch the whole sermon on their YouTube channel.
— Tony Evans' wife, Lois, is feeling great but doctors don't have many answers yet regarding her cancer.
"My mom actually feels great,” her son, Anthony, told The Christian Post last Thursday.
Anthony also said, “we're just hoping that the doctor's report, next time, is a reflection of how she looks and feels right now.”
While Anthony is annoyed that the doctors don't have more answers, he says he's thankful that she's not in pain.
Tony Evans announced in April that his wife's rare gallbladder cancer had returned.
