Kalley Heiligenthal, a worship leader and songwriter with Bethel Music, is asking for prayer for a resurrection miracle for her two-year-old daughter, Olive, after she stopped breathing and was pronounced dead by doctors on Saturday.

Heiligenthal wrote, “We’re asking for prayer. We believe in a Jesus who died and conclusively defeated every grave, holding the keys to resurrection power.”

“We are asking for bold, unified prayers from the global church to stand with us in belief that He will raise this little girl back to life,” she said, adding, “Her time here is not done, and it is our time to believe boldly, and with confidence wield what King Jesus paid for. It’s time for her to come to life.”

Video footage from a Sunday service shows the worship leader leading worship joyfully, believing God for a miracle while singing the anthem "Way Maker".

One Million Moms urge boycott after Hallmark Channel reinstates ad of kissing brides

The Hallmark Channel, which bills itself the “country’s leading destination for quality family entertainment,” apologized Sunday for removing an ad from Zola.com that features two brides kissing and has reinstated it after backlash from gay rights advocates.

The ad was initially removed after Hallmark heard the complaints of One Million Moms who requested that its content remain friendly to conservative families.

One Million Moms urged supporters of conservative family values boycott the channel: “After removing a controversial ad featuring two lesbians kissing at the end of their wedding ceremony, Hallmark has again reversed course –– and apologized for offending the homosexual community. One Million Moms, a division of the American Family Association, is now calling for a boycott of the channel.”

USCIRF commissioner charged with concealing contributions to Clinton campaign

A commissioner on the bipartisan U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has been indicted along with seven others in an alleged conspiracy to conceal millions of dollars in excessive campaign donations to benefit Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, the 48-year-old CEO of the online payment processing company Allied Wallet, who has served as a member of the congressionally mandated religious freedom watchdog panel since 2018, faces 35 counts related to allegations of illegal conduit political contributions made between 2016 and 2018 and obstruction of a grand jury investigation.

Khawaja is accused of conspiring with George Nader, a businessman and lobbyist who has served for years as a liaison between politicians in Washington and the United Arab Emirates, to conceal the source of $3.5 million in contributions directed to political committees associated with Clinton.

John Gray defends character, announces new Relentless Church campuses for Greenville and Atlanta

Megachurch pastor John Gray defended his character and announced Sunday that he’ll be moving his Relentless Church congregation to a different location in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2020 and establish a new one in Atlanta with a nod to Edward Long, the eldest child of the late Bishop Eddie Long.

The announcement comes after a tempestuous two weeks since Gray was, on Nov. 27, served a 30-day notice of termination for the church building he was leasing from Pastors Ron and Hope Carpenter, who alleged he was “shady” and “dishonest.”

In his address on Sunday, Gray appeared to address the allegations against his character without specifically mentioning the Carpenters.

“When I think about who I am as a man, as a pastor, as a leader, I’ve been serving pastors in leadership capacities since September of 2000,” Gray told his congregation, naming megachurch leaders like Joel Osteen, Jentezen Franklin and the late Bishop Eddie Long.

“Every pastor that I served, not only did I serve with integrity, I served with honor, I served with humility and I never sought their platform. And anyone of them will tell you, particularly Pastor Joel as well, who we still serve,” Gray said.

James MacDonald sues Chicago radio personality ‘Mancow’ Muller for defamation

Harvest Bible Chapel’s founder and former leader James MacDonald has slapped Chicago radio personality Matthew “Mancow” Muller with a lawsuit alleging multiple counts defamation and is seeking at least $50,000 in compensatory damages for the spread of false information which caused him emotional distress and significant harm to his reputation.

MacDonald’s controversial Feb. 12 ouster from Harvest Bible Chapel was triggered by "highly inappropriate recorded comments" made public on Muller’s radio program as well as "other conduct."

He was recorded talking about planting child pornography on Christianity Today CEO Harold Smith's computer, and making crude remarks about independent journalist Julie Roys — including joking that she had an affair with then CT Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli — and a vulgar reference to Ed Stetzer, executive director of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College.
