Televangelist Jack Van Impe, the host of the show "Jack Van Impe Presents," has died at the age of 88. Van Impe’s ministry, Jack Van Impe Ministries International, announced the news on its website

Van Impe led more than 8 million to faith in Christ over the duration of his 68-year ministry. At the height of its popularity in the mid-’90s, his show reached 25,000 cities weekly and more than 150 countries. "Jack Van Impe Presents" aired its final episode this month.

— SBA List launches $52M effort to reelect Trump, 'most pro-life president in history'

The Susan B. Anthony List, a prominent pro-life group, is launching a $52 million campaign to help reelect President Trump by galvanizing pro-life voters in 2020. Before Election Day, the SBA List intends to expand its efforts to Iowa, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin and visit 4 million voters.

The SBA List announced Friday that along with its partner super PAC, which is called Women Speak Out PAC, its plans include a robust boost to on the ground grassroots efforts, voter contact mail, phone calls, and digital ads. Their teams have reportedly already visited over 460,000 homes in swing states and are reaching out to voters in battleground states such as Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina.

— Mike Pence attends African American church to join its MLK celebration

Vice President Mike Pence attended church at the 800-member Holy City Church of God in Christ in Raleigh, Tennessee, Sunday, joining its MLK celebration. During the visit Pence hailed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as one of the heroes of his youth and highlighted ways in which the Trump administration has been good for African Americans.

In a speech to the congregation on the eve of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Pence made the focus of his speech about King’s life and legacy, and highlighted how the Trump administration is seeking to build on King’s legacy by ensuring everyone has access to the American dream.

Pence said the Trump administration made sure historically black colleges and universities will receive $250 million in annual funding to permanent under federal law. He also spoke about the administration’s work on criminal justice reform, the creation of 8,700 opportunity zones, bringing new investment and jobs to underserved communities across the nation. And how African American unemployment is at the lowest level ever recorded.

— Kansas City Chiefs CEO gives glory to God as team heads to first Super Bowl in 50 years

Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt gave praise to the Lord Sunday night after the franchise founded by his father secured its first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years. 

Following the Chiefs 35-24 victory against the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Conference Championship Sunday in Arrowhead Stadium, the 54-year-old Hunt was handed the trophy that bears his father’s name — the Lamar Hunt Trophy awarded annually to the AFC Champions. 

During the presentation of the Lamar Hunt Trophy on CBS, Hunt was asked what the moment was like for him and the Chiefs organization to finally bring the Lamar Hunt Trophy back to Kansas City. In his speech, Hunt thanked the Lord for “blessing us with this opportunity.” 

“The glory belongs to Him and this trophy belongs to the best fans in the National Football League,” Hunt said to the cheering crowd.

— Kanye West shares how Jesus saved him from devil

Kanye West shared how Jesus radically changed his life and saved him from the devil while performing along with his Sunday Service choir at a youth conference where hundreds of students dedicated their lives to Christ. 

West told the 12,000 students gathered for the Strength to Stand Conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, that he believes Jesus died for his sins,” saying, “There was a time when the devil had me.” But Jesus saved him. West’s pastor, Los Angeles-based Adam Tyson, delivered a short sermon on the story of the Prodigal Son. 

The Strength to Stand Conference is for middle school to college-age students and also featured Hillsong Young & Free, Lecrae, and Jonathan Edwards.
