Speaking in person at the March for Life on Friday, President Donald Trump, the first sitting United States president to participate in the pro-life rally, spoke about the value of children, both born and unborn.

Trump told tens of thousands gathered in Washington, D.C., that an unborn baby shows “a glimpse of the majesty of God’s creation.”

The president referenced Psalm 139:14 in his speech and highlighted his administration’s pro-life accomplishments while in office, including reinstituting the Mexico City Policy, which prevents tax dollars from going to organizations that promote or fund abortions abroad, appointing pro-life judges, and ensuring Title X funds are being given to family health care clinics instead of abortion providers.

— Charlotte Pence Bond: I'm not pro-life just because I'm VP's daughter

Charlotte Pence Bond said she isn’t pro-life simply because she is the daughter of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence or because she was raised in a Christian household.

Speaking at the March for Life youth rally on Thursday in Washington, D.C., Bond, who married Henry Bond in December, said her reasons for her position also include science, statistics and the harm it causes women and communities.

The vice president’s daughter said she is optimistic that we will on day see a “post-Roe America,” when the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion will be overturned.

— CofE: Sex outside of heterosexual marriage 'falls short of God’s purpose'

The Church of England has released a guidance stating that sexual relations should only be between married, heterosexual couples, and sex in gay or straight civil partnerships “falls short of God’s purpose for human beings."

The House of Bishops of the Church of England issued the pastoral guidance in response to the U.K. allowing heterosexual couples to enter into civil partnerships instead of marriages.

Same-sex civil partnerships have been legal in the U.K. since 2005 and same-sex marriage became legal in 2013. Neither has changed the church’s teaching on marriage or same sex relationships.

— ISIS child soldier executes Nigerian Christian student

A Nigerian man who was executed by a child militant in a video released days ago by a Boko Haram offshoot group aligned with the Islamic State terrorist group has been identified as a 22-year-old Christian college student.

The student was a biology major who was returning to school from Christmas break when he was abducted on January 9th by the Islamic State West Africa Province, according to the U.K.-based nongovernmental organization Christian Solidarity Worldwide.

In the video released by the Islamic State-affiliated Amaq News Agency, the child claims that the 22-year-old's killing was revenge for the “bloodshed” committed by Christians. A 20-year-old zoology student is still being held captive.

— Professors demand apology after Catholic college screens pro-life film

Forty-three faculty members at a Catholic college in Canada are demanding an apology after a film about a former abortion worker’s departure from the industry was screened on campus.

The faculty members at King’s University College at Western University in Ontario signed onto a letter criticizing the Catholic liberal arts university for allowing the pro-life film “Unplanned” to be shown to students.

“Unplanned” is based on the life of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic manager who created an organization to support those who decide to leave the abortion industry.
