The National Association of Evangelicals has launched a $1 million campaign designed to inspire congregants to “bless” their pastors at a time when 90 percent of pastors nationwide are facing financial pressure.

It’s called the Bless Your Pastor campaign and it’s funded by a three-year grant from the Lilly Endowment.

Congregations are being encouraged to be creative in helping their pastors. Offering low-cost medical or dental care, car repairs, babysitting or gift cards are some examples of how to bless one’s pastor.

Participating churches will also be gifted an Amazon gift card for their pastor.
