— Children in China taught Christianity is ‘evil cult’

Christian parents in China revealed that their children are being taught that Christianity is an “evil cult” and encouraged to “hate God.”

Parents spoke with the persecution watchdog Bitter Winter and said that schools throughout the communist country are telling children to oppose religion and to report family members who are Christian to the authorities.

China introduced revised regulations on religion in February, which included banning those under 18 from attending church or receiving any religious education.

— Pregnant mother killed by Fulani

A pregnant mother of two and two other Christians, including a child, were murdered this month by radical Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria.

During the attack, around 75 houses in the villages of Ancha, Tafigana, Kperie, Hukke and Rikwechongu were also burned down.

The latest attack comes just as the Jubilee Campaign submitted data to the International Criminal Court, arguing that the standard for genocide has now been reached when it comes to the massacres of Christians at the hands of Fulani militants.

— Fla. county drops daily fines against church operating school for at-risk kids

A Florida county agreed Monday to waive a daily $250 fine levied on a church that operated a school for children with learning disabilities after the church filed legal action against it.

Englewood Church of the Nazarene, also known as Crosspoint Church, voluntarily dismissed their lawsuit against Sarasota County this week after the two parties reached a settlement.

Crosspoint started the faith-based school in 2013. The county had rejected the church’s application for exemption that would have allowed it to operate the school on its property and started charging fines.

The church will now be allowed to operate the school.
