Following a report from BisNow that the fast-food chain would stop giving to groups like The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which have been characterized as “anti-LGBT,” a Chick-fil-A representative told The Christian Post on Monday, “Our goal is to donate to the most effective organizations in the areas of education, homelessness and hunger. No organization will be excluded from future consideration – faith-based or non-faith based.”

— Kanye West plans to evangelize America’s youth with music

Popular rapper Kanye West visited Joel Osteen’s church on Sunday where he declared that though he was previously served fame, he is now serving God.

West, whose album Jesus Is King recently made Billboard history, said he plans to reach the younger generation with new music every month. He also said he’ll bring all the best producers, writers and artists back to God.

He said, “I know that God has been calling me for a long time. The devil’s been distracting me for a long time.”

“Jesus has won the victory. Because now, now I told you about my arrogance and cockiness already, now the greatest artist that God has ever created is now working for Him,” he said.

— Pastor tortured in Iranian prison fears deportation from turkey

A pastor who fled to Turkey after spending over a month in Iran’s most notorious prison is desperate for help as he and his family are facing deportation, which would result in his imprisonment and possible torture.

Pastor Esmaeil Falahati, a former Muslim who came to Christ at age 23 and planted house churches across Tehran for a decade, said his family might soon have to flee after four years in Turkey.

His family, who has been leading a ministry in Turkey as well, was issued a written order to leave the country and his residence license was invalidated by the immigration department. He said his only crime is being a Christian.

—Attorneys general PAC adds litmus test

The Democratic Attorneys General Association announced that candidates for attorneys general nationwide must support expanded access to abortion if they want the group’s backing.

The association is reportedly the first national party committee to have a litmus test for candidates.

Some Democrats have criticized the move as exclusionary, considering that a small number of pro-life Democrats hold important offices in rural areas such as Gov. John Bel Edwards in Louisiana and West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin.
