Amy and Vince Take Holiday Television by Storm

Amy Grant along with her husband Vince Gill will take television by storm this coming holiday season. The earliest broadcasting of their appearances will be the Nick at Nite Christmas Special, including Grant, Vince Gill, The Blues Brothers, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Clay Aiken, Brooke Shields , Danny DeVito, Raven-Symone, Al Roker, and Kenny Loggins among others. The show airs 7 times before Christmas, premiering Nov 28, then 12/3, 12/6, 12/12, 12/16, 12/21 and 12/25.

On December 4, 9 PM EST, the T.V. audience will be able to view a Nov. 13th taping of the married couple on a CNN’s Larry King Live where they discuss muslc and marriage.

A week later, Amy and Vince’s “Holiday at the Pops,” recorded with the Boston Pops will air on Dec. 12, and re-air on Dec. 13 and Dec. 21.

Last but not least, the duo will be part of two Christmas TV specials this year. CBS “Home for the Holidays” including Grant, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Enrique Iglesias, Mya, and Mary J. Blige, airs Dec 23rd. Amy and husband Vince Gill will perform one Christmas song. The show will be taped in front of an audience of 450 people, all of which are adopted children and their families. “Home for the Holidays”, an adoption special, was the brainchild of Steven Speilberg’s foundation and will feature taped packages of children waiting to be adopted, interspersed with songs by the performers.

Near the end of November, the Grant and Gill will also launch their Simply Christmas Tour.
