Anna Paquin on Plastic Surgery: Pregnant Actress Puts Career Before Looks

Anna Paquin, the 29-year-old "True Blood" star, has said that she will not be undergoing plastic surgery despite physical flaws she sees in herself, explaining that it would limit the type of acting roles she can try out for.

"Interestingly enough, I don't really care about my teeth, but I think any woman on this planet could say, 'I wish my [expletive] was smaller, my arms were thinner and I had green eyes not brown,'" she said on the April/May issue of Zooey Magazine.

The actress, who is currently pregnant with her first child with husband and "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer, insisted that regardless of the imperfections she sees in herself, her acting career was more important than physical perfection.

"I think anyone is as critical as they have the energy to self-obsess, but I also know as an actress you are more limited if you interfere with your looks," Paquin said.

"If you have a whole bunch of work done with your teeth and your face and your boobs then you're only going to play modern people. That's a big choice to make. Very limiting," the actress concluded.

The same interview also touched upon the issue of Paquin's sexuality – the actress maintains she is bisexual despite her marriage and child with Moyer.

"For me, it's not really an issue because I'm someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It's not made up. It's not a lack of decision. It's not being greedy or numerous other ignorant things I've heard at this point," she told the U.S. publication.

The actress insisted that for her as a bisexual, gender is simply not a deciding factor on who she is attracted to.

Zooey Magazine reportedly shows off a number of fashionable photos of Paquin that appear to have been taken before she developed a baby bump.
