Presbyterian Church USA, the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States, will be holding its General Assembly exclusively online for the first time in its history due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Committee on the Office of the General Assembly voted unanimously on Tuesday to move the gathering online where it will be held on June 19 and again on June 26-27.

— 4 killed, 36 houses destroyed as Fulani radicals raid another village in Nigeria

Four people were killed and two others were injured when Fulani herdsmen raided a farming village in the Kaduna State of Nigeria Sunday night.

A group of about 100 suspected radical herdsmen burned at least 36 homes when they attacked and razed the a village in the Kamaru Chawai ward of the Kauru local government area.

Witnesses told the Christian humanitarian relief organization Stefanos Foundation that three women in the village were killed as attackers randomly shot at residents as they were fleeing.

— New Spring Church turns campuses into blood donation centers during COVID-19 pandemic

The South Carolina megachurch NewSpring Church is hosting blood drives at its campuses across the state through a partnership with a nonprofit called The Blood Connection that has issued an urgent call for blood donations amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.

The church has converted its campuses into temporary donation centers that will allow donors to maintain a safe distance from others during the blood donation process. 

The partnership between the church and nonprofit comes as U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams issued an urgent call last month for Americans to donate blood.

— 117K people express need for Jesus after hearing Gospel through ministry’s virtual Easter events

Despite a global lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, some 117,000 people from around the world expressed an interest in committing their faith in Jesus after hearing the Gospel through virtual events hosted by evangelist Nick Hall and his young-adult ministry Pulse during the week of Easter.

Pulse led two major events during Holy Week, the Leader Check-In and a Good Friday service that featured several high-profile Christian speakers, including Francis Chan, founder of Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California, who now lives in Hong Kong.

— Most Protestant pastors believe global warming is 'real and man-made,' LifeWay finds

A majority of Protestant pastors somewhat agree that global warming is real and caused by humans, according to polling data released by LifeWay Research this week showing a divide in the beliefs of evangelical and mainline leaders. 

The Southern Baptist polling firm interviewed over 1,000 pastors from Protestant churches across the U.S. about their views on climate change.

The survey found that 53% of pastors agreed in some capacity that human activity is complicit in global warming
