Ashley Judd Dress at Olympus Has Fallen Premiere a 'Herve Leger' (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Ashley Judd has attended the Olympus Has Fallen premiere on March 18 wearing a Herve Leger dress as she took to the red carpet alongside her co-stars Morgan Freeman and Gerard Butler.

Olympus Has Fallen is a film directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars an ensemble cast, including Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, and Angela Bassett. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on March 22, 2013.

The film's storyline premise is that a former Special Forces operator called Mike Banning has now become a Secret Service agent assigned to Presidential Detail. After a tragic accident, he is demoted and assigned to desk duty.

When the White House (Secret Service Code: "Olympus") is captured by a terrorist mastermind and the president is held hostage, Banning finds himself trapped within the building.

As the national security team scrambles to respond, they are forced to rely on Banning's inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the president, and avert an even bigger disaster.

Judd was attending the premiere of the film despite only recently announcing her split from husband Dario Franchitti after 10 years of marriage.

They have no children together and released a joint statement saying: "We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed."

The former couple had tied the knot in a private ceremony in Scotland in 2001. Judd's famous country singer sister, Wynona, served as maid of honor for the ceremony and Franchitti's brother Mario was the best man.

Recently there has been much talk of the "Missing" star's interest in trading in her acting career for a shot at politics. Ashley was poised for a run against top senate Republican Mitch McConnell for a seat to represent Kentucky. However, her publicist Cara Tripicchio squashed those rumors in a statement to Politico.

"Ashley has yet to decide about running for the United States Senate. She is honored by the incredible encouragement from her fellow Kentuckians and the national interest, including Senator McConnell," Tripicchio said.

In 2012, Ashley reportedly looked into what would be required of her if she did want to pursue a career in politics. Sources said she met with New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in December about the possible bid and started conducting opposition research.

"She is doing all the things that a serious candidate exploring a race should do," Rep. John Yarmuth told Politico at the time about Ashley's political activities.
