Bayern Munich vs Arsenal takes place in the Champions League on Wednesday night as the Gunners look to overturn a big deficit from the first leg in London where they conceded three away goals in a 1-3 loss. The game is scheduled to start at 7.45 p.m. UK time (3.45 p.m ET) and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Arsenal have been reeling since they were demolished by a classy Bayern Munich side at the Emirates in the first leg, and they will be seeing this match as much as a chance of gaining redemption as progressing to the next round.

In the first leg early goals from Toni Kroos and Thomas Mueller gave Bayern control of the tie and the Gunners never recovered. Arsenal will have to do the same to their German counterparts tonight if they are to turn this tie on its head. An early goal will be vital if the Gunners are to push on. They will need to score at least three goals tonight if they are to go through.

Arsenal fans will have watched how Barcelona came back from 2-0 down in the first leg against AC Milan to win the second leg 4-0 last night. That will have inspired them, and the Gunners will be hoping to copy that accomplishment tonight. Although critics will highlight that the Gunners are no Barcelona, despite their similar drive to play free-flowing football.

Barcelona have a firm grip on the Spanish La Liga, where as Arsenal have endured a torrid season and are in danger of not even qualifying for next season's Champions League. Barcelona are widely heralded as the best team in world football right now, where as Arsenal have consistently underachieved over the past five years.

However, if Arsenal can overturn the odds and turn this tie around tonight it could kick start their season and allow them to push on in the final months.
