Beatmart Recordings Releases Best Of Submissions Vol. 2
Beatmart Recordings released yesterday their Best of the Submissions Vol. 2, a 25-song sampling from some of the, “best signed and unsigned emcees in the biz,” including Bobby Bishop, Rob Hodge, and Fresh Digress, according to a press release.
The project, which also includes the top three songs that were submitted to beatmart.com and voted on by fans in 2004, was remixed by DJ Morphiziz, whose musical influences include Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Depeche Mode, The Doors, Gang Starrr, the Cure, and Rage Against the Machine.
Like its predecessor, Vol. 2 includes a special feature that grants access to a secret section of beatmart.com. The veiled site allows aspiring artists to post their original music for a chance at being chosen by fans for the next mixtape.
