Though the newest season of "Beauty and the Beast" won't be airing until next year, fans of the show are still rooting for it as the show has been nominated for a People's Choice Award. Lead actress Kristin Kreuk took to Twitter last week to thank fans for their support and wrote, "Thank you #Beasties for once again getting us People's Choice nominations! So very fantastic of you!"
Information about season three is starting to come in, and while viewers know that Nicole Gale Anderson who plays Cat's sister will be seen more often in the show, Cartermatt reports that the CW show is going to be more of a family event when it returns.
According to the website, the upcoming sixth episode of "Beauty and the Beast" will introduce two aunts for Kreuk's character. The show is reportedly looking for two actresses in their 40s or 50s to play the following characters:
Lily- a "no-nonsense woman who is desperate for information about Vincent."
Claire- a woman who is "much more interested in keeping everyone happy rather than stirring up family problems."
Meanwhile, the show will be back with a 22-episode season, and so far, five of the episodes have been named. Episode 1 is titled "Beast of Wallstreet"; the second is called "Primal Fear"; third episode is "Bob & Carol, Vin & Cat"; the fourth is "Heart of the Matter"; and the fifth episode is titled "Most Dangerous."
With full episode orders for other CW shows such as "The Flash" and "Jane the Virgin," it is unclear if the new season of the show will have a different timeslot, but the third season of "Beauty and the Beast" is projected to air in the late spring of 2015.
