Ben Affleck News: Actor Spotted with Jennifer Garner Following Apology to Hilarie Burton, Sources Claim
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have recently reunited after the former made a public apology for groping actress Hilarie Burton in the past.
Sources claim the would-be estranged couple was spotted together attending a private event last week. Reportedly, the two arrived in the said L.A. event together but left separately.
The sighting of the two was their first after Affleck got embroiled in a controversy following Harvey Weinstein's scandal recently. To recall, one of Weinstein's accusers in an article published by The New York Times earlier this month, Rose McGowan, tweeted Affleck to speak up on the issue of Weinstein's alleged sexual assaults and harassment cases on some of the most prominent names in Hollywood.

While Affleck eventually spoke up on the issue by saying that Weinstein's reported sexual assaults and harassment were saddening, it did not take long for Twitter to dig up his share of sexual harassment incident, specifically the one involving Burton, who accused the actor of groping her breasts in MTV's "TRL" (Total Request Live) episode in 2003.
It did not take long after Affleck addressed the issue as he eventually acknowledged the said incident and apologized for it via a tweet.
While Affleck did the right thing of acknowledging his mistake and apologizing for it, rumors claim that Garner has been upset about the latest controversy that her would-be ex-husband has gotten himself into. According to an incognito source, Garner believed that, because of Affleck's new controversy, she and their three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, would not be spared from public scrutiny as well.
"She tries to shield them from any and all publicity and scrutiny. She's taking her kids to school and to all of their activities. As far as they know, nothing has changed and all is well. That is always her goal but she's been pretty frustrated with him," the incognito source told E! News.
