Benny Hinn Releases DVD of Remarriage Ceremony

Evangelist Benny Hinn, who on March 3 remarried his wife Suzanne before a thousand people in Orlando, Fla., is releasing a DVD of the ceremony and planning a "life-changing" tour retracing the footsteps of the Apostle Paul in Italy and Greece.

The long-awaited remarriage of the controversial pastor was followed by many of his supporters from around the world, and Hinn is now offering a $25 DVD of the ceremony called "A Story of Love and Restoration" on his website.

The ceremony, which was held at Orlando's Holy Land Experience and conducted by Dr. Jack Hayford and evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, is being described as "flawless, beautiful, and heavenly," and "a glorious day of restoration."

"On this memorable DVD, share the restored love and marriage. Experience the music, worship, vows, memories, the deeply meaningful communion service, and candid family moments. Listen to their seven confessions. See why people around the world have responded so positively to the new chapter of marriage and ministry," a description for the ceremony reads. "Those who attended the heart-warming, life-changing ceremony left deeply moved, saying that they would never be the same again."

The remarriage marked a happy conclusion to the marital problems the Hinns faced over the last couple of years. The couple separated in 2010 after Suzanne filed for a divorce, with pastor Hinn later revealing the reasons behind their trouble. The televangelist shared with his followers that his hectic schedule had pulled him away from his family for extended periods of time, while his wife had struggled with drug dependency for many years

Following a Christmas family get-together in 2011, however, the couple began a long period of reconciliation, and announced their remarriage plans in late 2012.

"Thank you for praying for Suzanne and me! It is because of your prayers, intercession and love, that we are where we are today," Pastor Hinn said on March 3, thanking all his supporters for helping restore his 30-year marriage.

Hinn teaches the controversial prosperity gospel and makes faith-healing and prophecy claims. He was among six high-profile prosperity preachers who were probed by the Senate in 2007 about possible misuse of their nonprofit status.

The evangelist is busy getting back to work following his marriage, and has announced plans for a "life-changing" trip to Greece and Italy, where he says he will retrace the steps of the Apostle Paul, one of the most prominent writers of the later books in the Bible.

The trip is scheduled for May and promises those who sign up to see "firsthand the places of the early church mentioned in the New Testament."
