An interdenominational outreach of more than 700 churches in cooperation with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will take place in Paraguay next week to bring a straightforward message of Gods love to the people of Temuco.
Festival de Esperanza, Franklin Grahams first Festival of Hope in Paraguay, will include music, messages from local leaders, and a program for youth and children.
I look forward to bringing Gods message of hope to Asuncion, said Graham when speaking of the May 12-14 event. People will hear a lot of music from award-winning artists, personal stories, and most importantly, an opportunity to accept Gods love that will change their lives.
Graham, who serves as president and CEO of the BGEA and international relief organization Samaritans Purse, was invited by church leaders to conduct the Festival of Hope. Since 1989, Graham has conducted an average of seven Festivals of Hope a year as an evangelist for the BGEA. Last year, Graham had Festivals of Hope in Tijuana, Mexico; Temuco, Chile; Durban, South Africa; Bakersfield, California (USA); and Halifax, Canada.
According to the DeMossNewsPond, next weeks event in the Defensores del Chaco Stadium will feature three nights of challenging messages from Graham that will be broadcasted live by satellite to five major cities in Paraguay.
Along with the messages, the Festival of Hope will include performances delivered by award-winning artists including Marcos Witt, Marcos Vidal, Assiria, guitar virtuoso Dennis Agajanian, The Gutierrez Brothers, the California-based Tommy Coomes Band, and many local musicians.
All activities are open to the public and admission is free.
