Bieber, Gomez Meet Up in NYC: Justin Bieber's First Attempt to Win Selena Back?

It appears that Justin Bieber may already be attempting to rekindle his flame with recently announced ex, Selena Gomez. While both in New York City for business, the pop star was spotted paying a visit to Gomez's hotel.

Reports that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had split surfaced on Friday after almost two years together. But just afterwards, Bieber appeared eager to suggest that it was not over just yet between the two of them.

"Justin would like to get back with Selena, and thinks it can happen," TMZ reported. "We're told the way Justin sees it ... they've broken up a bunch of times before and this is just another blip."

During a Saturday interview, Bieber also suggested that he hadn't seen the breakup coming, and wasn't sure about what was "going on" in his life.

"I don't know what to say," he said in an interview with Open House Party on Saturday, neither confirming nor denying the news. "I don't know what's going on in my life. To even assess that it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment."

On Monday, perhaps Bieber had his first window of opportunity and part of his plans may have materialized. Both stars were required to be in New York on Monday night. Gomez flew in on Monday to make an appearance at Glamour magazine while Bieber had a concert at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

But just before the concert, Bieber was spotted making a stop at Gomez's hotel.

"I saw Selena go into the hotel around 5:40 p.m. and not even three hours later, Justin went in," a source told Life & Style about the rumored reunion. "I saw him leave around 11 p.m."

Could Bieber and Gomez already be headed for a reunion?
