After some delays brought by contract negotiation misunderstandings, "The Big Bang Theory" is now set for its season 8 production. Along with this great news, there are details about the upcoming season's plot development that caught our attention.
Near the "Big Bang Theory" season 7 ending, viewers were able to witness the big engagement of Leonard and Penny. Fans are undeniably excited for the next step to which the couple would take in the forthcoming season.
But recent reports indicated that the Leonard-Penny nuptial won't be happening soon.

Entertainment Weekly quoted TBBT's executive producer Steve Molaro during a panel discussion at Comic-con.
"A wedding is sometime off in the future. They're not in a rush. Penny's first goal is to put the date far enough in the future so everyone knows she's not pregnant," he said.
Catermatt, in their website, indicated that Molaro's statement is entirely logical in respect to Penny's desire to prove to her family and those around her that the reason she's marrying Leonard is that she's in love and not because she is pregnant.
Meanwhile, Penny's actress Cuoco-Sweeting expressed excitement for the purported wedding.
"I'm hoping next season will involve a lot of wedding stuff, I think that would be really fun. If I had to guess, Leonard is probably more of the planner than Penny, which would be very funny. Everyone's growing up a little bit," she told Women's Health.
On the other hand, rumors about Sheldon's dramatic departure in Season 7 were confirmed by an insider that indeed, the theoretical physicist boarded the train to somehow escape the overwhelming changes that have been going on in his life.
To where the character goes or what is his current location is, however, the bigger question that needs to be answered when "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 returns.
