Black Friday Deals Announced by Apple for Online Store and Retailer

Apple confirmed its plans to offer some special black Friday deals later this week in a recent announcement.

Special pricing will be available on select devices from midnight to midnight in the Apple's online store. Its retail locations will also be offering discounts on certain items.

Apple did not reveal the specifics on the deals at this time and will probably wait until the date gets closer to do so. The company had a promotion on the MacBook last year that took $100 off the sticker. There were also specials on iPads, iPods and other products. The new promotion will include free shipping for orders that are $50 and above in the U.S.

Apple will most likely offer specials on its brand new tablet line that includes the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display along with discounts on the iPhone 5S and 5C. The discounts will be appealing, but won't pack the same punch as deals from third-party sellers.

Apple also recently introduced the new MacBook Pro with Retina and the Mac Pro. Deals might also be available on these products, however; a price cut on the Mac Pro does not seem likely.

Refurbished items will probably get pushed as well as last year the fairly new iPhone 5 was being offered for just $99.99 on contract. It will be interesting to see what the discounts will look like for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C which starts at this same price. The new smartphones were unveiled and launched back in September.

More information on discounted items should be available as the week progresses along with news of third party retailers offering cheaper prices on Apple items.
