'Blend S' Episode 4 Spoilers: Café Stile to Hire a New Waitress?

Maika Sakuranomiya's biggest motivation for wanting to work part-time is to be able to go abroad and study there. But withal sorts of complications happening at Café Stile, will she be able to keep up with her job on the Japanese romance-comedy anime series, "Blend S."

The previous episode brought some complications to the café when a customer inadvertently left a harmless looking paper bag on the table. The bag apparently contained an adult magazine that got everyone at the café curious to see it except for the level-headed little sister waitress, Mafuyu Hoshikawa, and the shell-shocked sadistic waitress, Maika.

And when they posted a notice looking for the owner, referring to it as a self-published book, a bespectacled, red-headed girl came by to claim it, much to the staff's surprise.

Who could this girl be and why did she drop by the café again in an after-credit scene? More importantly, what did she tell Dino that seemed to have had the shop owner both surprised and interested?

It seems that this girl will be joining the Café Stile soon since she appears on the opening song montage. And since Maika now fulfills the role of the sadistic waitress, Kaho Hinata is the tsundere waitress, and Mafuyu is the little sister waitress, the only role that's left unfulfilled is the big sister waitress.

Moreover, the title of the next episode, "The New Girl Is a Big Sister," provides the biggest hint as to what role the red-headed girl is about to play.

What kind of co-worker will she turn out to be? Will her personality be a gap to her big sister waitress job, or could she be a real big sister to her coworkers? Will she be a big help to Maika, who continues to struggle with her sadistic waitress title, or will she end up being the younger girl's biggest critic?

"Blend S" airs on Saturdays late night at 12:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11. It also airs on AT-X on Mondays at 8 p.m. JST. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
