Whitney Houston would have turned 49 on Thursday and in honor of her birthday, her daughter Bobbi Kristina tattooed the late singer's initials on her wrist.

The 19-year-old tweeted a photo of her new ink, which also features four doves, and her boyfriend Nick Gordon, Houston's adopted son, also tattooed the same picture on his wrist.

"On the way with MYbooboo @nickdgordon :)heading2 #Inksomnia for our TATTSSS !this is for you mommy (: we love you, happybirthday OurladyXxo… You all will get2see! Houston was found dead on Feb. 11 after drowning in her hotel bathtub, and her untimely death was ruled an accident by the coroner's office, which also cited heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.

Bobbi Kristina, who revealed that she senses Houston's spirit around her, understandably struggled to come to terms with her tragic loss, but appears to be doing well six months after Houston's death.

"Once it hits 12 am mommy it's your birthday & I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deaerveNothingburtheBEST!" she tweeted.

"TREND#HAPPY49thBIRTHDAYMOMMY STARTS AT 12 am eastern time ! so TREND TREND TREND! rip mommy . Oh how Iloveuso; I'llNEVERLetUGO," another tweet read.

In a previous interview with Oprah Winfrey, just weeks after Houston's passing, Bobbi Kristina opened up about her ability to connect with her mother spiritually.

"She's always with me, I can always feel her with me. Throughout the house, lights turn on and off and I'm like 'Mom what are you doing.' I can still sit there and I can still laugh with her, I can still talk to her," she told Winfrey.
