Boston Celtics vs Toronto Raptors Live Stream Free: Watch Online NBA Saturday Basketball (12.30PM ET)

The Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics face off on Saturday in the early NBA game, with the Celtics looking to improve their record and bounce back from a disappointing defeat to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. The game is scheduled to start at 12.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream via the link below.

The Celtics come into this game with a record of 5-4 having lost their last game by squandering a fourth quarter lead against the Nets. They ended up losing that game by a score of 102-97, which also brought an abrupt end to their three game winning streak.

Rajon Rondo did not play in that contest against the Nets due to a sprained right ankle, and was replaced by Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa came into the game and recorded 17 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

In that game Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists. In addition, Courtney Lee had a breakout game off the bench with 13 points, a team-high nine rebounds and a game-high three steals.

Meanwhile, after losing four straight, the Raptors picked up their first road win of the 2012-13 season with a 74-72 victory at Indiana on Tuesday. In that game Jose Calderon scored with 4:05 left in the first quarter to give Toronto a 19-17 lead and the Raptors led the rest of the way.

The last game between these two teams was on April 13, 2012, when Toronto claimed a tight 84-79 win. DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points and made four pivotal free throws down the stretch.

The Celtics in fact pulled to within one on a three-point play by Pierce with 38.8 seconds remaining, but DeRozan drew a foul on Toronto's next possession and made both free throws to put Toronto ahead 78-75. Pierce answered with a one-handed slam to trim the deficit with 20.5 seconds left, but two more free throws by DeRozan extended the lead, and Pierce missed badly on a game-tying 3-point attempt to allow Linas Kleiza to knock down four free throws in the final moments to put the game away.

If Toronto are to win again tonight they will have to ensure their defensive play is tight. Their defense has been a problem in recent visits to Boston, with the team allowing an average of 107.0 points on 52.1 percent shooting over an eight game period there.
