Pitt, 48, will begin shooting for his first perfume ad this week in London where he and fiance Angelina Jolie were recently spotted scouting new homes.

The father of six will feature in campaign images that are shot specifically for the women's fragrance and not the men's version.

Pitt will reportedly receive a seven-figure paycheck for the campaign, and advertising will begin later this year, according to the Huffington Post.

Other celebrities who have previously been cast as faces of Chanel No. 5 include Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tautou.

Pitt's latest movie "Killing Them Softly," an American crime film, is due for release in September and is said to be in the running for the Palme d'Or 2012 at the upcoming Cannes film festival this month.

Despite being busy with different projects, the actor is said to be planning an upcoming wedding with Jolie, 36 after the couple of seven years recently became engaged.

"Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring," a representative, Cynthia Pett-Dante, told CNN.

The pair shares six adopted and biological children, Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and Knox and Vivienne, 3.

The couple's wedding will mark Jolie's third marriage and Pitt's second.
