Brandy Engagement Ring Revealed

Just days after confirming her plans to marry, Brandy has revealed her engagement ring via social media on Saturday.

The diamond sparkler was presented to Brandy by her fiancé Ryan Press, a music producer, who proposed earlier this year.

Despite having confessed that she would marry Press "with a bubble-gum ring," Brandy finally showed off her new sparkler while on vacation in Hawaii.

"#hawaii #love #forever," the singer posted to Instagram along with a photo of herself with Press while poolside.

Also known as Brandy Norwood, the singer and her fiancé have been spotted looking happy together at several events in the music industry over the past year.

"They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right," a source close to the 33-year-old told Us Weekly.

The engagement was no surprise, as Brandy has expressed her desire to marry the music exec in the past, but noted that there was no ring.

"I keep hearing about a ring, people keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know," the singer told Sister2Sister magazine in August. "I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be … I guess it will happen when it's the right time."

Furthermore, in March, Brandy told People magazine that her 10-year-old daughter "loves Ryan, and he loves me for sure, but I don't have a ring."

The "Moesha" star then admitted that even without a fancy ring she would marry Press.

"I told Ryan I'd marry him with a bubble-gum ring," said Brandy in the interview.

It will be Brandy's first marriage, despite having misled the media by claiming she had been married to Robert Smith, the father of her daughter Sy'rai.

This year, the former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant released her sixth album "211," which landed her at number one on the R&B charts.
