Britney Spears New Boyfriend: Star Finds Love Again?

Britney Spears has made headlines after being spotted with a male companion in recent weeks.

The pop star split from fiancé Jason Trawick earlier this month, but was spotted on Valentine's Day with a new man.

Recent reports have identified Spears' alleged love interest as "an average guy" named David Lucado, according to Hollywood Gossip.

Furthermore, Lucado is a field researcher for a law firm in Atlanta, and is "definitely not a wealthy guy," according to TMZ.

Spears was introduced to her new love through mutual friends before spending a weekend golfing together.

Despite the speculation, Spears' rep has not confirmed whether or not the "Hold It Against Me" singer is in fact dating Lucado.

Referred to as pop music's princess, the media often follows Spears vigorously, and the singer's former role as a judge on "X-Factor" only intensified her fame.

Since then, Spears has exited "The X-Factor," announcing that she wanted to focus more on her music in a statement earlier this year.

"I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season," started the singer, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it's time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."

Also, it is believed that the 31-year-old is in "serious talks" about moving to Vegas and having a show much similar to that of Celine Dion, according to TMZ.

Spears is also busy raising two sons, Sean and Jayden, from her first marriage to backup dancer Kevin Federline.
