Britney Spears Shares Photo With Sons Amidst Rumors of Split From Boyfriend

Britney Spears offered a rare look at her home life with a post to Instagram this week.

The "Piece of Me" singer shared a cheerful photo alongside her two sons, Sean Preston, 8, and Jayden James, 7, while signaling summertime on June 23.

"What's up summer!!! Where are my sunglasses when I need them? Lol," Spears wrote in the caption on Twitter.

In the photo, Spears stood between her two growing sons who smiled broadly under their mother's arms. Although she was missing her sunglasses, Spears appeared fit in a sleeveless tank top, shorts, and tan wedge sandals. The singer shares Sean and Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline. In a recent interview, Spears admitted she would like to give her sons a little sister someday.

"I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl," Spears confessed during an interview with Life & Style in its January issue. "I think she would be like a mini-me."

Spears' marriage with the father of her children ended in 2007, and the singer is now in relationship with researcher David Lucado. The pop superstar noted that providing a sister for her two sons may also provide her with something - companionship.

"I think it's going to be crazy," the singer continued of having a daughter. "I'm not going to feel as alone in the world anymore. I'm going to feel like I have a second person, like, that's me."

Meanwhile, more recent reports indicate that Spears and Lucado have split after one year this week, leaving the 32-year-old single once more. The couple allegedly broke up "a while ago," but the singer has been busy "focusing on her boys after the break up," a source told X17Online.
