Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Release Date Set for Nov. 4: Hi-Tech Weapons Revealed
The eagerly-awaited Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare edition from Activision definitely proves that games are better with jetpacks and laser canons. Fans of the COD series might want to forget the disappointment they felt after the 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts now that Advanced Warfare is coming to town. Here's what players can expect to the new action-packed first-person shooter.
Taken from the gameplay trailer presented during the E3 convention, it appears that the player will play a character which is part of a certain defense contractor organization, Gamespot reported.
Unlike the previous COD editions, Advanced Warfare players would only be able to see the viewpoint of a single character named Private Mitchell. Mitchell is a soldier recruited into the Atlas private military contractor through Jonathan Iron's son Will.

Jonathan Iron, played by Kevin Spacey, is the owner of the corporation whose goal includes putting back war-torn nations to their feet by way of establishing military might.
The single-storyline speculation was revealed personally by the game's creative director Bret Robbins.
"Very early on we decided that we would tell a single story and that really came out of the desire to focus all of our energy on telling one very good story, and we're really happy with the story we have created so there is no branching storyline," he told GamingBolt.
"Everyone that plays the game will experience the same story, which I actually like. I think it's a great story and I want everyone to enjoy it," Robbins added.
Meanwhile, the showing of the modern weaponry and armor in the gameplay trailer garnered mixed reactions from people, pointing out its similarity to Xbox One hit Titanfall.
The featured Exo suits provides the player incredible maneuverability, allowing him to dash, run faster, jump higher, and wield heavy, big guns.
Assault rifles are also shown to be much more accurate and powerful. There's also a Skyrim's Dragon Born-like ability that enables playersto see enemies behind walls or coverings. There are also invisibility cloaks to offer covert abilities.
Featured in the pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare edition is the Advanced Arsenal which gamers can select "blinged up suits, armors, and guns."
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated to be released on Xbox One, PC, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U Nov. 4.
