Carmen Electra Baywatch Cover at 40: 'I Feel Better Than I Did at 25'

Carmen Electra has returned to her "Baywatch" swimsuit for a cover issue on staying young at the age of 40.

The former "Baywatch" star, who made her first pose at 25, has returned 15 years later and now says that she feels better than ever. Electra admitted that she was pleased that she could still fit into the same suit.

"I feel better than I did at 25!" Electra told InTouch. The model appears in her "Baywatch" gear on the most recent cover of the magazine. "Once I got it on, I felt amazing. It was a million times better than I thought it would be."

The star credited her ability to stay in shape on discipline, which she first learned from dancing ballet. Her diet now consists mostly of "vegetable and protein," although she noted to the magazine that she allows the occasional cupcake or two.

"I still have the discipline I learned when I studied ballet growing up," she revealed.

In the cover picture, Electra is depicted holding a surfboard over her shoulder. She appears to have been superimposed over a beach, but some Internet users suspected that was not the only photo edit that was done.

"InTouch? More like touched up," one user commented on the Huffington Post.

Another user suggested that the model only looks "better today" because of "today's airbrushing technology." Regardless, Electra appears to be recovering well from her breakup with "X-Factor" judge Simon Cowell. The couple began dating in December but last week Cowell suggested, again, that Electra was never actually his "girlfriend."

"I'm now a single man. We spent time together and she is so much fun," he was quoted by Daily Mail. "But I'd like to find a girlfriend ... I'm happy, but I'd like to find a girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend. We're people who date," Cowell previously told Ryan Seacrest.
