Catherine Giudici Baptized Into Fiance Sean Lowe's Church by His Father

As the day of "Bachelor" Sean Lowe and fiancé Catherine Giudici's wedding approaches, the couple has taken serious steps to be together. Lowe's father recently revealed that Giudici had even been baptized in the Plymouth Park Baptist Church as part of preparation for her new life with Lowe, a born-again Christian.

"Catherine became a Christian last year," Lowe's father, Jay, told Radar Online. "I remember the night she surrendered her life to the Lord. She called me and was giggling and excited. She was overjoyed. Becoming a Christian was a personal decision she made herself and had nothing to do with Sean or impressing the family," he added.

Lowe has been very open about his religious beliefs and faith, as well as his decision to remain abstinent until his wedding to Giudici. The two are incredibly close and currently live together, though they have explained that they live in separate rooms and will continue to do so until the wedding.

Giudici decided a month ago that she wanted to be baptized into the same church as her fiancé, which her future father-in-law presided over. Jay will also be the one to marry the couple on January 26.

"I'm so happy for these two and can't wait for the wedding," Jay said. "I'm very honored to be such a big part of their wedding day."

As for the younger Lowe, he was over-the-moon with joy that his fiancé not only gave her life to Christ but was baptized on Sunday.

"This brings my heart so much joy," he posted on Instagram. "Got to watch my dad baptize @catherinegiudici this morning."

The couple, who met while filming "The Bachelor" will have their wedding televised on ABC, the same network that brought them together. Lowe proposed to Giudici in Thailand during the finale of his season in 2013. Since then, they have been together and seemingly blissfully counting down the days until their wedding.
