Chad Johnson Loses Another Job, Wants Evelyn Lozada Back?

Chad Johnson may have lost his spot on the Miami Dolphins' roster and a new reality television show after allegedly head-butting estranged wife Evelyn Lozada, but now the NFL veteran has lost an endorsement with Zico Coconut Water. Although Johnson is admitting that he is going through a tough time, he is reportedly looking to reconcile things with his estranged reality television star wife.

After Johnson, 34, engaged in a public domestic dispute with his 36-year-old Lozada on Aug. 11, TMZ reported that Zico coconut water has decided to terminate their business relationship with him.

"In light of recent events involving Mr. Johnson, we have decided to terminate our relationship," a representative for Zico said in a statement. "The values we espouse, through our employees, our customers and our brand, are central to our mission. We have taken this proactive step to demonstrate just how important those values are."

Johnson only signed a contract with Zico three weeks ago, according to Radar Online. After losing his endorsement, reality television show "Ev and Ocho" and position on his hometown Miami Dolphins, the wideout is admitting that he is in between a rock and a hard place.

The football likened his situation to "treading water" when he thanked his supporters on the social networking website.

"I haven't had to tread water in a long time... special thank you to my fans...family...friends for keeping me afloat," Johnson wrote.

Still, the athlete who changed his Twitter avatar picture to a road signs that features the words "Rock" and "Hard Place" with arrows pointing in two different directions, reportedly wants to reconcile things with Lozada. Although his estranged wife has made a public statement saying that he needs help and that she is disappointed in his actions, Radar Online reports that he still loves her.

"To say this has been a bad week for Chad would be a drastic understatement. He is desperate to win Evelyn back, so he feels he has at least one person on his team, but she is resolute that is NOT going to happen," a source told the online news website. "Chad has been tearfully calling and texting Ev, pouring his heart out to her and telling how sorry he is and how he has never loved anyone before as he loves her. But, it's just too little too late."

Johnson seemed to confirm his love for Lozada when he released an official statement on his website apologizing for the ordeal that took place last Saturday. While Johnson admitted that he was dealing with a lot, he also said that he will remain positive in his situation.

"I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death," the football player said in the statement. "I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life."
