Charlize Theron, Sean Penn Fuel Romance Rumors at Actor's Haiti Home Gala
Charlize Theron and Sean Penn fueled romance rumors on Saturday while attending Penn's 3rd Annual Help Haiti Home Gala at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The pair, who recently vacationed together, sat side-by-side and were engaged in a light-hearted conversation throughout the night while fundraising for Penn's charity. At one point the "21 Grams" actor, 53, was seen embracing the "Prometheus" actress, 38, at the event, which was presented by Giorgio Armani.

"They looked like two teenagers in love," an alleged onlooker told the New York Daily News' Confidential. "They were hugging each other the entire evening. When a film about Haiti was played, Sean was resting his head on Charlize's shoulder and was holding her hand and kissing it. It was all very cute."
The event reportedly raised close to $6 million. The organization was founded in 2010 to provide medical assistance and to develop housing following the deadly earthquake.
The report comes two weeks after the Hollywood stars vacationed together in Hawaii in the days leading up to New Year's Eve.
"I've never seen Sean so happy. He had a permanent smile on his face," the insider revealed.
Upon their return to Los Angeles, the pair was reportedly spotted enjoying a date night at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood on Jan. 5. They watched "The Wolf of Wall Street" and a source claims they were "really casual and comfortable" upon their exit, according to E! News.
"It looks serious and comfortable," another insider told Us magazine.
In 2010 Theron, who is a single mom, and Penn, who shares two children with ex-wife actress Robin Wright, sparked romance reports after they were photographed having dinner in Santa Monica. At the time sources insisted they were just friends.
Prior to Penn, the South African actress dated Irish actor Stuart Townsend for close to a decade after having met him on the set of "Trapped." Penn was once married to Wright and pop star Madonna.
Reps for both Penn and Theron are yet to publicly confirm romance reports.
