The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Prior to this series starting, everyone had the Blackhawks penciled in to easily win this semifinals match up. However, after five games it is the Red Wings that are 3-2 up and a game away from ending Chicago's postseason.

Game 5 might have seen the Blackhawks confidently win 4-1 to pull the series back to 2-3, however, now the Red Wings return home to Detroit, where they have the opportunity to close out the series in front of their fanatical home crowd.

The Blackhawks, however, will hope that the tides have turned. The Red Wings rolled off three straight wins to claim a 3-1 lead in this series, but Chicago easily won Game 5, and now if they can win tonight they will tie things up for a winner-takes-all Game 7. If they can get to that scenario then most would have to say the Blackhawks would be favorites again.

Detroit will know that if they lose tonight then the momentum will have clearly shifted back to Chicago, and seeing that Game 7 is scheduled to be played in Chicago, Detroit know how important it is they close things out tonight and avoid going on the road for the final game of the series all tied.

The Red Wings do have a 4-1 playoffs record at the Joe Louis Arena, and the Blackhawks are just 2-4 on the road. This will definitely be the biggest chance Detroit have of getting through to the Western Conference finals.
