'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Episode 14: Boden Leads Mutiny Against Anderson

Facebook/NBCChicagoFireAnderson strikes back in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."

Boden (Eamonn Walker) and Anderson's (guest star Michael Hanrahan) battle for authority is getting out of hand in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."

In the episode titled "Purgatory," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Anderson will get back at Boden for insulting him in front of the others.

Last episode, Boden bypassed Anderson by making an important decision on his own. He ordered his men to continue with the rescue operation when the other man clearly said to stop. Anderson is annoyed at Boden for not acknowledging his superiority in rank. To make his point, he will personally go to Firehouse 51 and deliver the surprising news. This will have major repercussions on everyone concerned.

Anderson will split up the current team and reassign them to other houses around Chicago. According to him, the move is needed to improve the service they give to the citizens. The promo shows that the firefighters are not happy with the order. Severide (Taylor Kinney), Casey (Jesse Spencer) and the others will all go and talk to Boden, urging him to do something about the situation. The voiceover states that to reunite the team, law must be broken. Boden appears to be giving the okay signal to his men to do what is needed. He and Firehouse 51 look like they are about to start a mutiny.

Meanwhile, Severide is still trying to decide whether or not to accept the offer in Springfield. The move will bring him closer to Anna (Charlotte Sullivan), but it means leaving his friends behind. Severide thinks he is falling in love with the woman he donated his bone marrow to. He wants to be with her, but he also has doubts about what a relationship with her would mean. There is still Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo), who continues to hope that he will return to her someday.

"Chicago Fire" season 5 episode 14 will air Feb. 21, Tuesday, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
